So if I bought the Amazon version - do I download that and update it somehow or do I just download a version from the RoF site and apply my serial number to it?

My understanding was that if you downloaded it from the RoF site and used your serial number everything would work. Hopefully you did not buy another version because your ICE key should have worked on the RoF store download.
