Does anyone play those Battlefront: Combat Mission games? Not that I want to add to my ADHD gaming but I have been struggling with learning some ground combat tactics and strategy for some time and, having purchased a few of those games and never really played them, thought it might be time to dig one out and give it a go.

Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy
Combat Mission: Fortress Italy
Combat Mission: Black Sea

I play it a lot Fridge, both single player and multiplayer. If you want we can do a simple PBEM game?

I like Black Sea. The engagement ranges are shorter than might be expected in real life (or a sim like steel beasts), but the lethality of modern weapons is spectacular.

Here you go Fridge. This guy is the penultimate tactics guru for Combat Mission series. He is a beta tester and IIRC was a real infantry officer in the US Army. People use his stuff on the forums to understand real tactics and how to implement them in the game. Beautiful stuff you will find very useful as you learn the game.
