I went and saw the new Pete’s Dragon 3D with my son…and I think I might have sniffled a bit in some parts…(no spoilers - trailer below). It was fantastic.

I thought six (Kai) was pretty borderline actually. There are some very sad moments in it (but the end is overwhelmingly positive)…and some guys running around with guns…so it is really a pretty close call at that age. Redford does a great job in it. I love that guy.
It’s kind of weird that Disney in the space of a couple of months released two live action movies featuring a wild boy in the wilderness aided by CGI animals. Was there a memo missed at Walt’s HQ?
