Agreed. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between training in Nevada and some of the community download missions created for the Syria map.

Pyro 3 running into the target, which you can see through the HUD burning in the distance from a previous strike.
Echelon left wouldn’t have been my choice of formation, but at least we looked good. 3-2 and 3-4 kept their nav lights on for whatever reason. EDIT: watched the Tacview track and the AI did attack the primary target. I made two runs with pairs of Mk84s, one pair Auto and the other in “put the thing on the thing” mode. Hard to tell if they hit our assigned target, the depot, since there was so much occluding fire and smoke. We knocked the hell out of it regardless. I think that the next time I fly this mission, I’m going to add a target point from the F10 map during startup. Our egress route took us a bit too close to S300 systems, IMO. But they must have been Russian, since they didn’t target us. Didn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy.
As usual, I was too busy during the attack to snap photos of the target. Made it home with the same amount of holes that we started with.

after what @Derbysieger said about mavericks not being man enough for the bridge … I thought thats it … the bridge is going down
so I loaded 4 x 2000lb penetrator jadam and headed out
I thought just to give them a bit more of a chance, i dropped them from about 25k feet and all four together
all it did was set a small fire …
That’s it… I am just going to get my Mig21 out …time to go nuclear

because of the miss, i did try again and even with a near ground burst it was the same, I may have to concede defeat until the map is updated.
but on a side note, its the first time i have flown the 21 in a while and the cockpit in vr is impressive, especially the radar scope, it looks like it has real depth

I was below (89%) MTOW. 20C and no wind???
The nose came up about half runway and it just stayed like that until I hit a slight bump just before the piano keys… Just tried again with a ‘clean’ aircraft and 100% internal fuel and I lifted off at about the 5000ft mark.

Let the Strike Eagle beauty pageant continue! Various missions, of which I really enjoyed the Cypress invasion and the ISIS strike. Cropped from VR, so lowish res.
I rippled 6 x Mk 82s on this “LST” and all hit stern to bow. CDIP is deadly in the Mudhen.
Saved the last GBU 10 for the other LST, which was unloading. Hit amidships, but didn’t get credit for the kill. Tough cookie.
