DCS AH-64D

That’s why I love me some Huey. Just put the thing on the thing and mash the shoot button. If you miss, the disgruntled copilot will get him with a flex minigun, and then the door gunners dispatch anything trying to escape.

Aerges sent the F1 to ED for in-house testing yesterday. Which means we’re getting into the realm of soon™.

I bought it (not a Choppa’ guy, more a systems fetish). Looking forward to it yes.

I’m also hoping the pilot/copilot AI creeps into the other AI, and ground combat improvements that seem necessary for this type of [d]“Combat”[s] are implemented.

An Afghan & Iraq map sure would complement it too. Syria (after NTTR for learning) is a great place to start.

I just have to watch that video only because of that. LOL, so quickly featured in new video!
( somehow not jumping on that AH right away, waiting for VULKAN implementation  )

Im not a choppa guy either, although i own all of them, and successful crash all of them. I preordered the apache. The systems got be too. Almost stikes me as the A10 of choppers.

One the fence about the F1. If its coming quickly ill get it but if it comes near the E release, 15 or 4, ill wait till a sale.

I’m more excited for the F1 than I am for either the Mudhen or Phantom (sacrilege, I know). I know it’s hoping for a lot, but I’d LOVE it if that one dropped in the same update as the Apache.

I don’t consider that likely. But the update after the Apache hits… very likely.

I’ll buy every dang one of them. The F1, the mudhen, the phantom, what a harvest!

Did Wags say he uses a hat switch for the pedals?!

Yeah. He is in a wheelchair if I remember correctly.

Interesting didn’t know that, regardless I’d have expected a twist grip before a hat switch. I may have to give that a try.

Twist grips allow for error inputs when moving the stick.
When I dont use the pedals, I use the slider on the Warthog throttle, as I can move it with my thumb, just set it so up is left, so as I push throttles forward for collective, I nudge the slider up to counter.
