I saw a post about a multi-threading/multi-core version of DCS does that capability exist in OpenBeta?
I couldn’t find an MT executable in the OpenBeta folder and I have not installed the “straight” DCS.
I am concerned that if I add the “straight” DCS that my A4 MOD will stop working again.
That’s what seemed to happen after the 2.8 to 2.9 upgrade.
My ancient system my need MT to play the game once it gets completely loaded.
There is a bin-mt folder in my DCS directory. Starting DCS.exe from within that directory will run the multi-threaded client.

If you look in the dcs folder there are 2 bin folders one is mt the other single thread … if you go in the mt bin file there is a dcs executable there and that is the multi thread one

Ok it was a chrome extension which affects font contrast 
Glad that you found the culprit. What I usually do is disable all unnecessary extensions, then enable them one by one until the issue returns. Which, is probably the process you went through.
