I somehow missed out on the Shadow of the Colossus, but The Last Guardian looks like a worthy spirtual successor. Makes me seriously consider picking up a PS4 just to get into this game.

I read that it has some rather annoying technical problems like the clonky collision detection, owing to its long development time. If you seriously think about getting a console just for this, i’d look into that so you don’t end up with a sour deal.
Seems to have some AI quirks. I really had to laugh out loud.
