Flying Reflected Paradise Lost campaign in the Huey, got me thinking about needing a fence check checklist. I can think of a few items that would be good, but wondered what else should be on the list. Does anyone have a published one they could share?
Fence in:
Lights out
Doors open, secured, and door guns loaded and locked (function check?)
Loose items stowed
Helmets and other items protective gear on, safety straps connected
I’m not sure how much it helps, but there was a generic mnemonic for fence checks going round a while ago:
F: Fire control (master arm on)
E: ECM and expendables (chaff/flares)
N: Navigation (current pos, target waypoint, orientation of forces, check DG aligned if that’s a thing)
C: Comms (correct freq, controller, etc)
E: Employment (brief weapons employment, set switches to enable employment)
