Controlling the boom from the KC-46A’s air refueling operator station “is night and day different from laying on your belly in a KC-135,”
Hmm. According to a childhood friend of mine who’s a boom operator on KC-135’s, half the fun for her is… providing motivation and entertainment to the planes she’s refueling by doing it topless, and apparently she’s far from the only one. I’m wondering how the Air Force is going to solve the potential problem this could create…
