Leatherneck F4U-1D Corsair

The other propjobs make fine opponents for them. Perhaps not entirely historical ones tho…

Can get close enough if you operate with a FAA scheme over Normandy, though.

Not Even a little bit. Sorry. Maybe with a Tony skin for the 109

There is always the Yak-52…no guns or other armament so maybe a plane I could actually beat.

I stand corrected sir. GOOD FIND. I’d forgotten all about that.
However, I forsee a lot of yak skins coming for the stang once the Corsair is out.

Impressive, but should’ve been a FAA scheme over Normandy.

That aint normandy in that shot, it’s one of the Iranian gulf islands standing in for pacific ones.

Hence, Normandy and FAA scheme. A little bit less anachronistic, even if slightly so (FAA Corsairs were operated near Norway in WW2).

And Fleet Air Arm Corsair look the Nutz! Hope that is one of the schemes it ships with.

If a Pacific theme , the B-24 would seem more applicable. I know the Fort was there too, but the Liberator just comes to mind. Even better, the gun nose B-25s.

Forget Pacific. This is how the servers will look like  ( and it could be great theme also for SP campaign )
