Good Luck @Klarsnow!
It’s SOOOOO laggy ATM.
It’s super painful to watch. 5 seconds of video/audio and 20 seconds of “buffering”.
People should be able to use the internet for these things, but only if they are all in the same room
“Technical Difficulty” screen is going up. Sounds like they’re going to switch servers, although half the chat thread is shouting “BITRATE! LOWER YOUR BITRATE! IT’S NOT THE SERVER!”, so this should be fun.
Just watched blue go in all a2a and regain the fight. Great flying!
What happened?! I was at work, did he win?!
Yes, his team won. He was with the Fishbeds against an F5/Viggen team.
Awesome! But obviously no contest given the superior performance of the Fishbed!
Anybody know if there is a way to replay this?
It looks like embedding twitch doesn’t quite work so clicky on the link
It was quite the battle actually. The Fishbeds pulled the lead early and prosecuted the ground and surface targets effectively throughout the match, but the tiger/viggen team had a great aerial victory when about a third of the battletime was remaining. They took out nearly all Fishbeds, -only Klarsnow escaped- at the loss of only a single tiger. This could have paved the way to a comeback. Unfortunatly one of their next moves was to form a tight, low strike package at the red ground targets. While such formations are pleasing to the eye, like Klarsnow, near_blind and others have stated they have no real place in aerial combat, and when they where spotted they were not in a position to provide mutual support and picked off, a single viggen managed to escape and pull through but failed to take out any targets during his attack.
The low ingress two-ship Viggen Flights managed to sneak under the fighter screen on several occasions.
The Rb04 volleys targeted the same ship multiple times. Curious to see how that target selection is made in the sim.
The Attack Viggen wouldn’t turn to engage the fighters IRL, but it made for som cool dogfights
Thanks for that! That was great to watch!
