Mudspike Food Thread

Spend all weekend cooking, then wonder why I don’t have any time to play games.

That looks fabulous!

After seeing all the nice foods here…, I thought I would come and lower the tone a bit :sunglasses:

Broiled carrots tonight. Carrots were broiled in olive oil, salted and peppered with plenty of dill for additional seasoning. Main course was Chicken Stroganoff cooked in a crockpot for several hours. The pasta was garlic, onion and dill. The glass of beer you see is my favorite, Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse with lemon squeeze. Wonderful meal.

Lol, I never could stand the original green bean casserole dish so that concoction does not float my boat in any way.

And just when I thought we had already reached peak hipster

The Jones Soda Company made a line of Thanksgiving-themed sodas a while back- Green Bean Casserole was oof of the better flavors.

Just made my first Kasespaetzle as an experiment. I have been ordered to repeat it so will order real Spaetzle and a better cheese. I used fettucine and a supermarket Emmental

I feel ya @bisher. I think you’re closer to Alberta? I had to do a delivery to Drayton Ontario this morning and the winds coming down from the north (+blizzard) were a nightmare. This “Improvise, adapt and overcome” crap always catches me by surprise every winter but I’m learning new tricks every year.

And this is coming from a guy that took the next month off ha ha ha!
