Oh, it has been deleted… Sorry for that.
It’s really early to worry about this, but frankly? The fact that someone at MP used AI to craft that ‘preview’ is kind of a concerning thing. AI will be integrated into work flows simply because it can act as a smart Ctrl+V. So long as it is trained off of material they own? That’s A-OK.
That said, it does concern me that they’d possibly use AI to do heavy lifting in the coding. This is a practice that has proven to be expensive due to the amount of ‘fixing’ that has to be done to the end product. If this is to be the case for Falcon 5.0, then I fail to see an advantage of Falcon 5.0 over DCS World simply because the biggest boon would be the absence of spaghetti code so terrible that it would resemble me handing @komemiute my bolognese and him regarding it as some pathetic Americanization of the dish before spiking it on my kitchen floor out of disgust.
Honestly, if it slows down the dev cycle? At this point it doesn’t matter one bit, it’s just starting, so let it go slow and get it right. As the ad says, perfection is never rushed.

Not going to happen. Not anytime soon, not for something like this.
Fingers crossed, I honestly do trust MP to not be so shameless. They’ve been doing a lot of good moves, lately.
…i mean…I’d listen to that.
I have a kernal of an idea here. Does a podcast need to be focused and tight on one topic.
When you go to a bar, someone starts talking aboit something. You probably aren’t remotely interested, but the dude has had a few beers and is animated and spinning a yarn, you listen. You comment even though you probably don’t really have a horse in the race. ■■■■ gets interesting in those situations.
So what about mates, some very intelligent, some less so just chatting about a random subject for each show. Rants, lectures, arguing, interesting information shared and discussed by people with knowledge to people without it
Rather than it being “flight sim weekly” it could be “any subject weekly”
I could talk about humvees alone without pause for an hour. Trucks, engines, armoured vehicles, amphibious vehicles, plant machinery, mining equipment, tools, generators, compressors, bloody tyres , vans, humvee trailers, army lorrys, heavy haulage, transport companies, classic lorries, detroit diesels, history of oshkosh trucks.
Jesus… i need to get a ■■■■■■■ life
Dude, we should totally do that.
A podcast called “Unhinged passionate rambling” ![]()

We pick a topic and people can watch it unravel in whatever it becomes in real time. ![]()

Hey at least it’s never:

No idea if this is on topic or not
but I just noticed Microprose have taken over Ground Branch. Could be a good thing, or not… But maybe it will speed things up a bit, fingers crossed.
Cut from Steam Intel report #028:
Today’s topic is a bit different than usual. As you may have seen here Microprose link, GROUND BRANCH has moved ownership from BlackFoot Studios to MicroProse.
this is totally on topic … I mean in case F5 becomes something like ARMA and GB will be its … ground branch ![]()
I remember years ago someone got F4.0 BMS 4.32 to work with ArmA 3. You could drop a bomb in Falcon 4 and it’d spawn and explode a target in ArmA.
Not having that discussion here guys.
