This is a quote from someone that works on a field.
"I work as a lineman there! The way I heard it, he was high and fast his
first approach down runway 5, so he went around. Second time he was
still high and fast, and also managed to forget to put his gear down.
About halfway down the runway he must have realized his mistake and
added full power, but couldn’t climb out with full flaps and settled in
the field beyond the end of the runway. He’s supposed to be fine though,
and the plane isn’t looking too bad, considering.
