Here is a recap of another mission flown in the Oculus Rift. It is part of my on-going Red Flag campaign but in a different format. All commentary is given after the fact and Tacview is used extensively.
I was surprised to find that I was far more effective on this mission than before despite the low resolution in the Rift. Granted, it was partly because I am 40% smarter when I am not describing what i am doing in real-time but I think it is sort of like TrackIR, the more you use it the better the experience becomes. I can’t wait for the CV1.
