Believe me, I completely understand and totally agree. Every one of us has flaws and faults and I make lots of mistakes when I fly. I accept criticism and offers of advice.
What this guy seems to display is an arrogance and attitude that does not sit well with me, as quoted above by @Troll the guy wilfully broke the rules AGAIN on departure. No humility, no apology. Appalling behaviour. Aviation in the uk is a very small community and this makes it even harder to justify our hobby.
Everyone makes errors, but his post-error behaviour is quite unfitting of a CPL holder and that is what they should string him up with if you’d ask me.
a lot of UK private IR holders got themselves a CPL. Pull up a sandbag, to get a private IR in the good old days you had to pass the ground examsfor the CPL. Most applicants just bit the bullet and did the other tests as well, so probably he has never been exposed to the discipline of professional flying despite having a Cpl. Most UK airports are delighted to collect th landing fee’s. The RAF charge to excess as part of disuading the flying public from using their airfields. They are unhappy at my own base having anyone in the circuit with a solo student - never mind unannounced arrival.

Resounding yes. Its fabulous. Not going to lie, it’s a bit terror inducing on takeoff. But the rest of it is just incredible. Definitely my favourite light aircraft experience to date. I love the Eurofox (which I’m doing my rating on thursday in) but if I had the money and a long runway near me…it would be the swept monster I purchased with my own money

Also not going to lie. You can take off/land conventionally or take off/land to scare the bejesus out of the passenger
