Some early details on the new StarVR VR headset. The defining feature seems to be the really large field of view (210°) to make it seem almost natural.

Too bad this is intended for commercial use only…but still, great to see these types of advances in the tech, in general.

Consumer (ish) Star VR pro headset price revealed. Hint: Don’t look, it’s expensive.

Essentially 1,830 × 1,464 but spread over 210 degrees FOV.
Not very affordable or practical but might provide hints of what tech is coming down the line in VR.
I think I’ll stick with my $300 O+ and Rift.
