Fun in the way it was discovered through too much accuracy in the achievement API. The article has the top 1000 or so games with numbers.

Saw that. I went looking for any flight sim games that I could think of and came up blank … which makes me sad. Would like to see a flight sim in there with 300k+ players (let alone 1M+). Think of what could be accomplished with that kind of money flowing in to the coffers.

Did the same thing. Didn’t see one flightsim making the list.
It’s not as bad as it looks, as the API only worked on things that used Steam Achievements. Things like DCS never really bought into that (which is a shame, they are simple to set up and a bit of harmless fun), so they don’t appear in this leak. About 13,000 titles do, but there’s about 28,000 entries on the SteamDB list.

War Thunder, ArmA2, and ArmA3 are present. Keep in mind the data only counts achievements, which sims like DCS don’t have.
