Seeing that I was sure I remembered a ”portable” C=64. I googled it and sure enough!
But that ”Lap”top version is way cooler!

I remember my very first ‘LAN party’.
- Bundled up my PC, Monitor, keyboard and mouse onto the backseat of the car. Drove the 30 minutes to a mates place, someone who (kinda) knew what they were doing. Connected our computers via a null modem cable and we spent the rest of that Saturday playing Doom.

It does roll off the tongue nicely, doesn’t it? I don’t give a ‘stuff’ about what various dictionaries choose. That is my word of the year for 2025.
