You scared me there mate!
To the others reading this: don’t worry it’s just a UK thing. Many other countries (incl NL) celebrate it in May

Reminds me of the year that Dad bought my mother a (rather expensive) fishing rod and reel for her birthday and she bought him a dishwasher for his

Gotta say an air fryer was one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I did NOT purchase it for for wife, I got it for myself! Between the air fryer and big toaster oven, I rarely turn on the actual oven anymore. We probably use the air fryer every other day at a minimum.

I did not know that! Always pictured it as a sloooow bird. Interesting! Looks can deceive apparently.

Literally every single meal thats been cooked in the house since February has been cooked in it.

I wasnt sure when she requested one, thought it was a fad thing but i have to say, I’m extremely taken with it. Especially for me when i have to feed myself on a time constraint. Throw in chopped potato slices or frozen chips and steak pie.
Go for shower, boom, dinners sorted

They are damn good things …. Same here, pretty much everything that will fit in it is cooked in it

Only thing i wasnt keen on was some butcher purchased burgers which turned to the most awful chewy mess. Which i couldn’t understand as cheap frozen and cheap butcher burgers were fine in it.

Maybe the fat/oil content? Not just the amount but the type - Most processed foods that we can get from the supermarket use a lot of palm oil.

Yeah we all associate the pointy shapes with fast, but those are only good at supersonic speeds.
In the subsonic regime, the optimal shape is a droplet, not coincidentally. Round at the front, pointy at the back. Precisely the A-6 fuselage. You will recognize this same rough shape in any subsonic airfoil.
