It is technically a photo… Of a print, but this seems like the best place to post.
My wife (yes she is definitely a keeper) had to drive into town today. As is her want, she cruised past the 2nd hand store / Charity store. Normally, and today was no exception, she brings home more ‘stuff’ than she drops off.
This time I am not complaining.
Limited edition print, signed by the artist (a real signature, not a reproduction). The Lancaster’s depicted are shown “Climbing into the stream from their base in Waddington to join the main bomber force for an attack on the Ruhr, 1941”
The lead aircraft, AR-G, more widely known here as G for George is the Lancaster on display at the Australian War memorial.
