Busy afternoon. Had the end of the day to myself! Fixed the heater, that now lets hot air into the cabin but the blower still inop!
Hot air just in time for summer 
Fitted the fuel cutoff and now I have the merest semblance of security when i leave it somewhere! You now need a key to start it… it will turn over but not start. It works. I like it.
Went to change the transmission oil but when i dipped it, it was sparkling clean. So I’m going to leave that for now and save the filter for end of the summer. Probably would benefit from changing but it looks like brand new Dexron 3 in there and I’m a tightass.
Big change was swapping a wheel i had spare with the right front. My. God. What a difference. That was like night and day! No bouncing, no skipping smoother ride, literally the biggest difference i have made to it. Makes me wonder what 4 new ones would feel like.
I’m having a lot of issues finding any replacements in europe. Nobody in the states wants to send me any on a pallet. Its incredibly irritating. Contacted half a dozen places and they just think I’m a scammer. Tried to buy 4, 40 and 100 and no luck.
But anyway, it drives much better! Good days work
Took some scrap tyres over to my storage area for a ride out. Scared the wife pretending I’d modified the hilux.

I bought a fridge for camping. A solar panel and a small power station.
So we went on a quick rescue mission to Morrisons to liberate 36 cans being held against their will and bring them home to where they belong.
Successful mission conducted.

Over here, they used to call it wifebeater. But some years ago they removed whatever made it terrible and now its just a normal weak ass beer.
But most people still have the stigma so think I’m well 'ard
