SAC is tied with Flight of The Intruder for my favorite film, ever. period.“One takeoff, One Landing.”
In time for the holidays…
Nice find - Added to my calendar
I watched Demolition Man with my wife today (on Prime)
She had not seen it yet, and I saw it at some point in the 90s, on VHS.
Not too bad.
I am floored that movie came out 30 years ago.

Still waiting for the demise of everything but Taco Bell…
In the European version they replaced Taco Bell with Pizza Hut, btw.
What was the reason for that change?
Wheels
There was no Taco Bell in Europe I think, so they chose another franchise owned by the same sponsor who paid the movie a lot of money for the product placement.
Have they oozed into the European markets since then?
Wheels
There are a few. Mostly in the UK, but since 2017 there have been a few more in different countries.
Same here in .au
Nobody knew what Taco Bell was so we also had the ‘multiverse’ version where Pizza Hut won the franchise wars
I’ve been going back through old monster genre movies from back in the day, currently the Blade movies.
And holy crap the late 90s-early 00s were a whole mood.
Shame they never made a third movie.
Maybe, maybe not? Loved the first one. Two I thought was a bit meh! and I am generally not a fan of re-boots…
I’ll watch it though
That scene were they open the door to the Diskothek is still the most memorable needle drop in movies. So awesome.
That was a joke- there was a third one, but it was TERRIBLE. Like, the less it’s talked about, the better.
And honestly I’m super -excited for the reboot, even if they do keep pushing it back. Word is Wesley Snipes is very pleased with what he’s seen so far.
Blade is cool. Blade 2 was… still OK. Blade 3… it had a few cool scenes but it was kinda crap.
Yeah…
I had a lot of a crush on Jessica Biel through the 90s and 00s, and I still had a hard time watching it.
Got it. just like there is only one Highlander
