I was just the radio guy on that leg. I only fly the occupied 135 legs (with a patient onboard). One of the bummers of being the PIC is that you only get to fly 1/3 of most trips. And you have to do the paperwork. Although when it is 100F that isn’t such a bad thing compared to taking oil readings on a 120F ramp on an engine that was just running at 740C…LOL…
The Golden Knights Twin Otter was arriving as we were departing…
Is that a good or bad thing? It’s nice to see a twotter though!
Always a good thing. Those guys are real professionals. They use Laurinburg/Maxton airport as their training facility. They do jumps there all the time.
Looks quite civilised!
Very . Just what I needed after a 10 hour flight.
Lovely picture.
which museum is that? I dont remember that from my visit to old blighty a couple years back.
The Fleet Air Arm Museum, at RNAS Yeovilton.
You’re just making names up now. Yeovilton … LOL!
Super Purdy!
I’ll take your Yeovilton and raise you Wookie Hole…
Somerset is a beautiful, but has some very weird place names.
I was born and raised in Somerset and Devon. It certainly is a beautiful area.
With great trepidation I fed that into google, dreading the result… and it turns out it’s a nice family friendly tourist trap. LOL!
You are an Austinite?
