I was almost under impresion that everyone here is flying just for fun and not for sport.

But as you mentioned, even sport could be fun!

And its not just the orienteering test, it is also the precision in timing as you are timed on each waypoint.
And the best part is after each navigation route, the precision landing. Its ‘almost’ like ‘carier recovery’ in Cessna
