X-Plane 12

I only had time to advance the tutorial a little yesterday… but yeah

This is my first Toliss module, so I’m not sure if the others have it, but this one has the very nifty function of ‘jump to next waypoint’ or ‘jump 200nm’, whichever is the closer.

Makes those long (particularly over water) legs bearable. I might be flying the A340 a lot for this year’s Xmas flight… which actually gives me an idea for my personal challenge.

I believe all the toliss modules have the jump to function. I thought they had a skip to TOD too.

Either way, The toliss Airbuses are some of the best. Once you get the A340 down the other modules will be easy.

I’m actually finding the A340 quite easy so far… Still have to land the thing, but so far it has been program a flight plan and perf, taxi (camera makes it too easy), watch the inverted chevron on TO to avoid a tail strike, retract the gear, press NAV1, retract flaps and slats at appropriate altitude and or airspeed, sit back and enjoy the ride.

I can understand why a friend of my brother - former RAAF pilot who has just gone from FO on an A380 to the left seat on a 320 likes them. He has flip-flopped between flying domestic and international his entire airline career and was ready to go back to domestic routes. The captain’s chair was the icing on the cake.

Tiny, little known plugin has major impact.

Stockholm today. Default scenery. TBH, it was a little bit hard to find snow outside of Scandinavia.
