Aginor's weird NFL thread

Not any more.

Yeah, there was no way he didn’t get fired after that.

Not to defend anything that Eberflus had done to that point, but IMHO, Williams needs to half own it. The coach is probably expecting him to take a quick shot or spike the ball. The team took too long to line up, the QB lost track of the clock judging by the time he took choosing a target, and the coach should have seen all of this and called a time out. As good as Williams played in the second half including the final drive, he probably should have taken a quick look and thrown it out of the back of the end zone. It was painful to watch.

The Cowboys managed to just barely lose against the equally unimpressive Bengals.

So the season of mediocrity continues.

The strange thing about the Cowboys this season is that they have an almost balanced season. 7:9 (at least until today, where they will probably lose to the Commanders).

HAHA!!! The game went about as good as I thought it would.

that Flag on the Mahomes hit was meh, bro was literally scrambling around behind his players then drops like bombay tells charlie to do in the first mighty ducks movie as soon as he saw another player from the other team about to hit him.

Honestly, if QBs wanna run, they should be under runner rules, once you make a football move as a runner you are no longer protected, and sliding intentionally like that should be a penalty.

I didn’t watch the game, so I had to go find a clip just now. Totally in agreement.

I’d really like to see the special protections on the QB’s removed entirely, but I get that with the QB salaries what they are that’s unlikely. If nothing else, once the QB crosses the line of scrimmage, they no longer get any special protections.

100%

And that little soccer flail he had going on, trying to draw a penalty. Chicken feces. The league needs to do something about it simply because the more you do it, eventually you’re going to run into a Dan Campbell and he’ll shrug at the idea of taking a 15 yard penalty just to watch your ass get smeared. That’s going to increase chances of severe injury tenfold.

they almost blew that game,
Carter saved the defense multiple times.

Sure did. Hurts looks slow these days…not sure what is going on. He’s a big dude though…so maybe it’s just like looking at a 747 on approach. Whatever the case…they certainly did everything they could to try to lose that game.

Post Concussion and now Knee injury, he was quick on that first TD Run.

So. Who are we rooting for in Superbowl LIX?

Because we love an underdog in this house, plus with an Aussie as an OT - Go Eagles!

Same here. Even though they are division rivals of my Cowboys I will root for them.
I just prefer it when it isn’t always the same people who win.
