I admit I didn’t watch it. In fact I skipped that whole season because of… reasons.
But it sure is refreshing to see a team win that hasn’t won a SB in a decade.

I had absolutely no dog in that hunt, though the connections were interesting.
Drake Maye graduated from the same high school as me, where he played football with the sons of several former Carolina Panthers legends.
Sam Darnold was the starting Quarterback for the Carolina Panthers for the 2021-2022 season, where he spent that year looking like Maye did because of a paper mache offensive line.
There were a bunch of NC State alums on both teams, as well as several North Carolinians in general.

I too did a bit of dancing during the half time show. Mostly to irritate my adult daughter. Judging by her response I musta looked just like Elmo. Mission successful
