Aginor's weird NFL thread

Oh, btw:
The record holder are the Seattle Seahawks, who made the playoffs with a record of 7-9 in the 2010 season.

Edit: The Carolina Panthers came close to that in 2014 though, with a 7-8-1

Panthers also won their first round playoff game that year too

I’ve noticed a disturbing trend in The Force (social media)…it seems that Dallas and Philadelphia fans are actually coming together, crossing that unspeakable no man’s land that separate them, burying decades of hatred…and both team’s fans are starting to root for the Redskins to win the division.

To quote an Eagle’s fan:

“People say the NFC East fans have an enormous amount of hatred for the other teams. But what this season has shown is that the hatred for their own teams is far greater. I have never felt closer to my NFC East bros. This season we are united against a common enemy; ourselves.”

I was never good at hating to be honest, so I can’t really relate. But I do understand that fans are disappointed by their teams.

Philly is notoriously good at being mean-spirited. Something in the wooder (that’s how they say water in Philly…I have no idea why…)

Can confirm - lived with three Philadelphians for a couple of years - they were insufferable during football season.

Also, went to the NFC Championship game in 2004, when the Panthers stomped the Eagles in Philly to go to the Super Bowl. Barely made it out of there alive. Have not been back to Philly since, have no desire to go again. 0/10, would not recommend.

We have “Frishmuths - Forever Eagles Fan” brick paver at Lincoln Financial Field that my Mom purchased. I’m wondering what year it will be pried up and thrown at a Giants fan…

I’m pretty sure that’s the way it is properly pronounced…wooder…the stuff that flows in the crick (creek).

I don’t think the sudden firing of Riverboat Ron is doing the team any favors. Only got to watch part, but it was hard to watch.

Wonder how they would be doing if they had Gronk these past few games?

I only watched the first half of the Chiefs-Patriots game, I was just too tired.
But I admit I would have liked to see it. I am in no way affiliated with the Chiefs but Mahomes is a cool guy.
The Patriots have a great defense, beating them is not an easy feat.

The 49ers-Saints game was also pretty awesome.
The first half was an offense shootout and the second half was defense heavy on both sides. A real highlight game.
