Ah yes I helped Nodunit when they first attempted to port the Apache from Arma 2 to 3 “I spent many hours looking and finding bugs” but they seemed to hit a wall and left it for a year. I believe they have recently updated the Arma 3 version, though it still contains many bugs.
Yeah…I think they ran into a showstopper bug with the rotor dynamics or something. I don’t know if the recent RotorLib update helped or hurt them. Whatever the case…that Apache was awesome!
Ah yes, that reminds me good old times of playing Arma 2 OA+ ACE with polish Arma Coop Corps community I to always liked to be PJ or door gunner on CASEVAC crew on alert pad insteed of straightleg shooter. While playing PR I also prefer to be on logi or cas support team rather then direct combat squad.

Project Reality is out with a new version I think? I heard that it was going to be released with out BattleFront2 as the ‘base’ or something? Not sure…
I am very interested in joining the arma 3 sessions. Does SimHQ have any DCS sessions?

You might wanna tag @WreckingCrew and see what the details of when and what he is running. I’m pretty sure his server is up quite frequently and they use the SimHQ TeamSpeak…(I don’t have a link offhand for the TS details…)

Arma3 occurs on Sunday (late afternoon 4pm EST), Monday evening (8pm EST) and Thursday evening (8pm EST). Mostly its infantry combat with the odd air or ground asset thrown in … so do not be surprised if we don’t use helicopters as much as I would like 
Yes, probably from next patch 1.3 due next weak or so PR will be standalone game without BF2 required to instal - that s the rumor anyway. Also “The Squad” is taking shape and should be released on Steam shortly as early access.
Is there an additional roadmap for Arma 3 DLC? I know they released the Marksman DLC a while back. I was hoping the developers might revisit the aircraft flight model a bit. Of course…development for Arma 3 is wide open since you can do almost anything you like with it.
EP and I need to get together and play with the UAVs a bit more…that was so much fun!

We have a good bunch of folks who fly various DCS aircraft and also fill Combined Arms slots. The server name is ‘Hollo Pointe’, and we do use the SimHQ Teamspeak server for voice comms. All are welcome to join, it is an open server. Hope to see you there!
