What about latency?
The higher speed is relatively useless for online gaming, but it’s night and day for downloads/streaming.
I can DL major updates to my games (5+GB) in like 2 mins now with my gigabit fiber vs my old 100Mbps cable modem.
And yes, wired gaming is always better than wireless because of interference and latency and such, even though the speed is largely irrelevant once you go over 10Mbps as long as you’re the only one using it, of course. If others in the house start streaming netflix and watching YT and you try to game, you better have 100Mbps minimum.
