DCS 2.9

Lee, which version of DLSS are you using?

I tried the “K” one there is also the “J” … but didnt try that

latest, as that was integrated into DCS as a default by ED in the latest patch.

This is all very exciting stuff.

looking at the new quick mission generator … I think its part of the dynamic campaign, the part which generates the tasking for missions. :grinning: The AI will fill in the blanks in the generator and you have your mission

Oooh, that makes sense! It would need to be a whole heaping lot faster though. Nothing quick about that thing…

Agreed, load times and the aircraft list need a bit of work, but I still like the idea. I miss the instant action mission generator in the old Jane’s games, Like USNF or FA.

I mostly want a quick, pick your plane, pick the enemy plane, pick a target site, and go sort of thing.

I’m also getting more crashes and freezes after the update. Looking at the other forums, I’m not alone.

it seems the last patch introduced a bit of an issue …

I noticed it was runing a bit hotter than usual … topping out at about 73’C, before it used to run in the mid to low 60s

I have my temp limit set to 80°C for the CPU and I have noticed the temps getting close to it a few times but once I hut 80°C the fans on my rad will spin up to keep it at or below 80°C. In game it mostly runs in the high 60° range now, before it would be low to mid 60ies. Temps in the main menu have remained basically the same in VR, haven’t checked 2D yet

Indeed! Even if in DCS it’s in a very different layout.

I’m checking information in the base to see if I can find pictures to rivet-count the accuracy. :joy: (not really)

I’m intending to not buy the MiG-29…… I surely don’t need it, and I most likely won’t fly it after the initial novelty wears off, but we all know the strength of my resolve when it comes to new modules.
