I got plans for that gizmo, think Kosovo Air War (with the Caucasus map standing in for that region)
Soooooo fun fact I voiced âThe Kidâ in Debden Eagles. Found out from Reflected that they provided withdrawal support on one of my Great Uncleâs bombing missions to Germany in â44.
Celebrity alert!
Can you sign my DLC?
I must be reading this wrong, people got addicted to the bombing mission??!?
I know PTSD can take many forms, butâŠ
- Fixed: George refused to close his canopy out of spite for players poking fun at him.
âŠ
- Fixed: George continues to press the slave button after shutdown. George being spiteful, again.
There was some verbiage in todaysâ newsletter about the ground unit AI being tweaked. So I had a go strafing some BMPâs in an A-10. Used to be a death sentence. No more! There were gobs of tracer coming up, but all missed to make the experience exhilerating yet non-frustrating! Yay!
You guys test it out some too, see how they do vs choppersâŠ
Excellent!
I donât do the âHogâ, but would like to (my 4th clone, twice removed, does, but he doesnât talk to me).
In the Harrier and faster Iâve not had a too difficult time with guns (low down) BUT the MANPADS never seem to miss, no matter how hard/fast I mash the flare button. AI set on average. I get nervous below 15,000 AGL if I think they may be around (never really know).
Time to Bronco again!
Aw hell yeeehaw!
Time to Huey up and ride with the Valkyries!
Fly an offset along the AO that brings you into MANPADS range, they are fairly easy to dodge when youâre not too close. You can then deal with them before going in for guns.
Beware of Tunguskas though I have noticed that they like to keep their radar in search mode or even off and ambush you using saclos instead of radar and their smokeless rocket motors are incredibly hard to spot. If you miss the missile launch youâre most likely never going to notice them before impact.
Just ran that one. What a blast! It should be one of the instant action scenarios for the huey!
Sadly my DCS crashed when I was in the mopping up phase. I got killed once by a ZSU-23 emplacement, but that was when I was almost hovering in front of it, so fair play. When I was zipping about letting the door gunners get some, they sprayed a lot but hit zip. Good!
Sounds good. I just never know where theyâre going to be or when theyâre going to be there. So I stay safely aboveâŠuntil I canât resist
Open Beta Public testing build

was not expecting this âŠ
Maybe it will be Phantastic!

Changelog is up. Not many changes, mainly bug fixes. Always welcome nonetheless!
Great comparison. Watching the real pilot to see what his queue is to bring up the tailhook, he appears to be checking right. I wonder if he gets a signal from a deck handler, or is looking in his mirror for state of the cable?
