I do really hope we will get a Vietnam map now…the Vietnam-esque stable is already good (sure, the specific variants might not be the historically right ones but I’m okay with that) and the Intruder will round it out perfectly.
just had a look… there are some very interesting areas on that map, wonder if that’s a mistake or an easter egg, cant imagine ED being happy if they are going to develop some of them, and having the cat getting out of the bag, so to speak 
also surprised that nobody on the ed forums has mentioned it
I always wondered why ED has not given us a Vietnam Map. Is it to not offend anyone? Is it because they can’t get the resources? I can’t see this Map not selling more than any other Map. It could be attracting more simmers than anything else ED has done. Why ED, Why?
in one his interviews Wags said they would love to do vietnam, but the tech was not there, the performance problems on the marianas with the amout of trees was one of the issues

Well, it’s an A-6E at least. However, since it’s also a TRAM jet, then it’s wasted because they’re missing an opportunity to make it flyable though. I mean it’s the TRAM version too…
That’s planned, IIRC after Eurofighter release.
Maybe they even planned to release a “mystery module” between Eurofighter and A-6E, though I’m not 100% sure
I would give anything for a Draken
This is probably heresy, but I’d rather fly the A-6E in an 80s Cold War gone hot scenario over the mountains of Norway than a Vietnam scenario. Swedish and Finnish Drakens are welcome too

This was a similar issue Spectrum Holobyte faced when they wanted to add an A-10 module to the Falcon Electronic Battlefield. Unfortunately, in their time, the tech never caught up and the module was never released. I remember it was one of the most anticipated modules back then.
Hopefully, the migration to Vulcan will make a Nam map possible. Maybe by that point, we’ll see a Korea map too.
