You’re right, i made an off by one error.
Just blame daylight savings time.
I thought about it but that would have made my mistake even worse.
Oh I totally understand!
It’s only that I was just a skinny lad, never knew no good from bad- but I knew the first real Flight Sim with a complete and realistic Dynamic Campaign, before I knew what a complete and realistic Dynamic Campaign was.
In short- it’s my first true Flight Sim Love, and as such, undefeated still today.
The Viper isn’t exactly fat bottomed.
Caught that reference like a sir!
So I just got you one hour off from your procrastinating then
I gave up on day 23 of my campaign haha.
Just to be clear, Rule #2 is posted a few inches down and aft of Rule #1.
So for those who have flown the Viper in BMS is it an aircraft that utilizes more of the HOTAS by default than say the Hornet? One of the things I loved about the A-10 was how useful the HOTAS is in accessing various things where the Hornet seems a little less lacking in that department.
From what I recall, the Viper is pretty mych HOTAS for all the “exciting part”.
Quite like the 'Hawg.
And they share the same stick!
Once you’ve got your setup done (setting up radio’s, datalinks and laser codes etc) you can fully fight with the jet from the HOTAS. You can even access a BVR mode, called MRM (medium range missile mode) so you dont even need to reach out to the AA button on the ICP.
Is there a ‘Win Fight’ button so that I don’t have to mess around with flying the jet, messing with the radar or having to pull the trigger? That would be great!
3 x (Ctrl + E)*. You should definitely bind that to your HOTAS.
*The dad joke of DCS jokes.
Yeah hold the uncage button and press the red button. You’ll kill something in a 12 degree cone in front of you.
No guarantees if it’s a friend or foe. But you’ll kill something
Perfect!
Even if it’s just your self-respect.
Patch notes are live:
The ED forum just got significantly slower. I feel a great disturbance in the force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in sheer geekiness and were suddenly silenced, when they saw that the update hadn’t been pushed to the servers yet.
