I suspect not too lard, I can remove the loach so we don’t have to bother with mods as well
EDIT: Just did a quick check, it has quite a few mods so I doubt it will be that easy unfortunately.

I could add the Apache, but like TAS said, probably too many mods for people to deal with on short notice. I will say that it probably some of the most fun you can have in a heli. For another time. The server is there if you need it.
Oh yeah, I don’t have any mods currently except for the OH-6A. If there’s more I am out today unfortunately
I would love to join. But dcs is not currently installed
I may pop on the discord to say hi
Don’t worry, mods are not on the schedule today!
The 107th Open Conflict servers also have a nice mix of helicopters to be used in a PvE way so that is another option.
For those easily UTC-confused, we start in 11 minutes, Freak and Schurem are loading up in a minute so we are already close to three! it’s becoming a real party this way
I’m here getting all the hardware set up for a night of simming, I should be on in about three!
Great fun! Amazing to be online in DCS again… Will post more screenshots.
How it started…
My Second Air to Air kill (Two AH-1 Cobra)
Coming home damaged after my gunners savaged with miniguns a suspected truck park and taking a close one by a missile.
Saving a friendly downed pilot…
How it ended…
Fantastic fun. My fillings are loose from listening to those Hueys thump-thump next to me.
Thanks everyone for showing up, that went way better then expected and the chaos was delightful!
I do admit, I need to learn the apache a lot more haha
loved providing some air support in the Phantom
Holy cow that was fun! I rekindled my love for the Ka-50 and got killed a lot in those Such fun to be with all of you, even saw some old friends
!
What do you mean? You were perfect! We ended the day with some 24 kills and walked away alive, except for maybe one small occurence that we should not try to remember The night ended up with me being a little bit tone-deaf because Snark and I had some sort of desync where my version of the apache was thinking the right engine was out (with subsequent rudder and rotor RPM screaming from B’ing Betty) but Snark was flying around fine!
Thanks so much everyone for being around. That was really amazing. @komemiute you’re a god in that Huey.
I know how to do a few things…
That was amazing! What a turnout!
Very good to hear @BeachAV8R 's voice again too.
Loved @komemiute 's very tactical infils and exfils. It was very educational to follow you around
@TheAlmightySnark and @Sryan operated as if they’d been an Apache crew for months!
I’m sorry I hadn’t tested my rig in advance, took a while to get in the air. Still had a grrat evening. Will do better next time.
Super time had by all. I’m always amazed at how proficient everyone else is in their machines while I’m head-down trying to figure out why something ISN’T working the way I want. For some reason my laser wasn’t firing…despite having set the laser switch to ARM and making sure the code was 1688 and having the control mapped…just couldn’t get it to do the thing. Which left me fangless with my Hellfire’s out on the wing. I did manage some gun runs and even managed a couple hits on a enemy Cobra. Back to studying the manual…
I hadn’t flown the Kiowa in a while, so thanks to those Spikers who answered a few questions. I just wished that I had sacrificed 3 airframes + a Phantom for only bagging 2 infantryman Some of you dudes were wrecking the enemy.
Edit: I’ve been working on this sandbox style mission on the CW Germany map, based on DANZIG’s Berlin has fallen mission. I basically just moved aircraft around and added more player spots.
Did some Fulda scouting in the Kiowa after our meeting broke up. The mission only has 1 mod, the OH-6A.
