In 1992 I still had my old Amstraad CPC 6128. I remember the first week of each month I would spend my allowance on a handful of computer magazines.
They used to have a section which actually gave out the source code (In BASIC) for simple games and I would then spend the rest of the month trying to get them to work. I had a success rate of about 50% I think - the source code used to be full of bugs.
And they had another section with ‘cheats’ for games that involved using PEEK and POKE to adjust the variables in RAM at runtime. Again the success rate was pretty low.
Fun times!

F117? Bah! Sure, it had more theaters and was prettier, but F-19 was the REAL title!
