How are you handling afterburner detents?

Right, for people who fly WWI/WWII/helos/jets with and w/o AB…there’s no single solution.

A detent was a problem when I flew the Ka-50 all the time. If it’s a WWII plane where pushing beyond the detent invoked WEP, that’s fine, but if not and it was a separate command, it was just annoying.

My X55 has no detent but the Hornet has a special setting to flip ‘allow afterburner on/off’ (don’t know what it’s called for real). I map that on a toggle near the throttle and it’s really useful as a way to ensure I stay in MIL and don’t burn all my gas.
