A friend of ours is a real estate photographer and has been subbing out the aerial work. I just wanted to have the option of doing it as a side hustle and looking at other job opportunities in the drone space. For instance, script writer jobs are asking for things like 107 and private pilot certificates as a minimum.
Things are going to get pretty interesting when Part 108 gets sorted out, not that they will need drone pilots, since it mostly facilitates autonomous operations, like package delivery. Airspace management sounds like it’s going to go private, so thinking that it might be smart to get into a corporate UAS department before the bubble. Or for just an investment.
Think of the dumbest thing this administration can do and they will apparently! Oh well, there’s been a long track record of the ATC in the use constantly being gutted with the union effectively being dead ever since, Reagan I think? Or was it Nixon?
