Ok, great. Especially for Back to Backhdad. Concerning Tornado I asked Frankie Kam (the guy with the Tornado Mods from Dogs of War), but he hasn’t responded. So go ahead.
I put your name on the review-llist for both titles.

Cool beans
Well, we have drafts and screenshots for ten titles. Only about 110 to go, but as I said, this is more of a marathon than a fast sprint …
If anyone wants to contribute and join in… feel free.
Jens
I’ve started on mine, so I hope to have them all done within a few weeks or so. I hope that’s okay.
Finally submitted my first review, F-19. Took me forever because for some reason my DOSBox won’t take screenshots, so I had to find a workaround. Onto the next one!!
Hey all,
Helene and Milton hit my family hard. The latter was my worst experience ever. I’m still in the cleanup and repair process and while I have access to tech, I’m not quite back to normal. I almost lost some of my electronics due to flooding (not as bad as others but one to two inches of water intrusion inside is still nerve-wracking). We’re not quite back to normal just yet. Thankfully, our tree did not fall and our roof and windows held. Others in my neighborhood were not as fortunate. I’m spent physically, emotionally, and mentally.
That said, I’m somewhat dead in the water with my reviews. However; I’m not out of the game. Once I get our home back to normal, I’ll start writing again. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I feel blessed because some are still without power or lost their homes, but we still have ours (despite the need for some repairs). My heart goes out to them.
Hopefully, we won’t experience anything like this season ever again or any time soon.
Oh my gosh good luck with everything!
Mate. I think a ‘book review’ being late is the least of your worries right now!
I am glad that you’re OK… The fact that you can recognise that there are others worse off tells me that.
Just make sure you get the rest you need and when it comes time to ‘decompress’ that you reach out to wherever you are most comfortable doing so,
Oh man, that sounds really bad. Saw it on the news here in Germany.
Don’t worry about those sim-reviews now and focus on the tasks at hand.
Wish you all the best.
Jens
Currently, we have 13 drafts for reviews out of 138 potential titles. I’m working on putting together a first version that combines all text and screenshots we have so far. I must admit, laying out such a project is much more difficult than I anticipated.
I initially attempted to use Affinity Publisher (the poor man’s version of Adobe InDesign), but after a few days, I gave up. Without delving deeper and truly learning how to use it, it doesn’t make sense. So, I resorted to macOS Pages, which serves its purpose at this stage of the project.
If I have something to show (hopefully in the coming weeks), I’ll share it here.
P.S. We are still looking for more people to write reviews. The list can be found here.
I’m back in operation. Will start to write reviews for DID F-22 ADF + data disk RSO + F-22 TAW and hopefully also EF 2000 + TACTCOM. Slowly because of other activities and family.
Hey sorry but I thought I requested EF2000.
I did, here:
Yup, I will add Rapier to F-22 ADF and we need F-22 TAW entry as it should be considered as a separate titile IMHO.
Thank you. I’m working slowly because my family says I’m pushing too hard and they worry about me.
Thank you. Working on the rest part is challenging. There’s so much to do and I just want to get it done. Still, due to the prompting by my family, I’ve slowed down and handling things in “chunks.”
Thank you. It was bad!!! I think they are now calling Milton a generational storm or something of the sort. It made landfall as a Cat-3 but the impact felt like a Cat-4 (or even 5). Clean up has been challenging because several areas were still recovering from Helene. Milton made Helene look like a typical bay area thunderstorm. We are slowly getting back to normal. I have to take it slow because of family concerns. I just want to get everything done right away.
As I wrote above, I put together the current reviews in a single pdf and tried to create some sort of layout for it. Any recommendations or criticism is welcome
Damn, that looks great!
Boo Yah!!! Looking good, especially for an early draft! I did a quick scan and will go through it thoroughly when time permits.
We still have some storm activity in the Caribbean that might potentially come our way but the season is almost over and we should be back on track soon.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the completed project.
Cheers
