Don’t know if this has been posted yet.
also - didn’t you guys say that the Tucano has been out since Nov '22 - but that isn’t on my marketplace, either.
The Tucano has been available at SimMarket for quite some time now. As I mentioned previously, it’s a title rough…but I guess, the best Tucano available for the sim right now.
Yeah, I got that, Paul - was just surprised as I thought you meant (or at least froggie meant…) that it had been on the marketplace since then. No worries.

Hype Performance Group have released their Airbus H160, big brother to the H145.
Their H145 is excellent, and I am sure this one will be no different. It looks like the avionics are very similar (not a great surprise). I’ll probably be picking this one up in the not too distant future.
Is anyone else now reluctant to buy 2020 stuff with 2024 around the corner? I know they said stuff bought for 2020 should work in 2024, but they didn’t say “all” add-ons will work with it.
Yes, I intend continuing to fly 2020 after 2024 is released, but I said that about FSX and P3D - and though I still have them installed, it’s rare that I take a flight in one or other.
Must admit, I really enjoy it when I do, though! Feels like a nostalgia trip
I have not stopped entirely but became pretty selective.
I think I will jump the train once MSFS 2024 arrives and expect the addons to be compatible in a similar way as addons between different versions of P3D. I am OK to pay a reasonable “update fee” if the need be.
Let’s face it… it still may take some time till we see MSFS 2024 in its full glory and if a good addon hits the market, I will at least consider it.
looks great, but saving my gold for AeroflyFS4. hopefully there will be soon some sale near me.
and regarding 20vs24 module purchse, I am low on flight sims budget atm so fortunately dont have these dilemas
Recent astronomy purchases have put a limit to my sim spending too. I took the H145 out for a spin yesterday evening. I am not sure if that scratched the itch or just made me want the H160 even more.
its so damn shiny, I know
now I am going to defend my funds.
this is real deal breaker
from wiki:
During the aircraft’s development features such as full de-icing equipment and a fly-by-wire control system were deemed too heavy or costly for the benefits involved and were eliminated.
plus looking on the RL specs table it looks like more of ‘quality of life’ improvements than performance improvements on this helo.
Ugh, I though this was an AS.365/ EC.155 Dauphin derivative but it’s a barely functional “replacement”.
Not that I have spent more than 4 hours in MSFS this calendar year but thanks, that takes away any urges
Having expressed my caution about buying add-ons for 2020, I will be getting this as soon as it turns up in the marketplace. I know there are reported shortcomings, but it’s always been a fave plane of mine. Multi-props and STOL and rough terrain ops - what more would I want?
Currently available via the dev’s own site, but I’ve heard about tiresome install issues (though not everyone seems to agree about that), but I will buy it at the increased price it will be on marketplace. The dev is also doing his best to interact with customers and those interested.
According to the dev’s posts on MSFS Forums the price will increase for all other stores it gets sold on, over their own website price, due to the extra costs incurred - which is fair enough.
**so much for that - just bought it from their website. At £18.17 (19.99 Euro) I couldn’t pass it by.
