Trying to put about 45K into the bank this afternoon with four contracts into the Idaho backcountry. Flew into some very interesting airfields…

Had a bunch of fun in the mountains of Idaho today…using real weather via Active Sky…some rain, but no worries on clouds or visibility…

Ended up putting about $44,000 in the bank minus some fuel expenses and landing fees…not a bad haul for the day!

I’m living like the true American middle class!

This morning I spotted this beautiful contract over at 2U5 for $29,282… Looks like a dicey strip, but worth the money!

That is some expensive sun cream holy smokes.

That sun cream…I’ll have you know…has a base water drawn directly from a tributary of the Selway River. Special ion porous granite filtering, combined with inversion suppressed valley cooling and a proprietary blend of infused Cervus canadensis fecality make the Shearer Base Sun Cream a very high end product.

C’mon guys - we don’t just carry porn DVDs and cigarettes!

I hope these don’t go … Nevermind, I don’t want to get banned :slightly_smiling_face:

Nice $54,000 day today…! I did suffer 5% damage to the Caravan from a bit of a firm landing in one of those ridiculous forestry strips…but it’ll buff out…

Ah…here is a really nice one for this morning. A paired OUT and IN haul to S40 and back to home base with nice payouts for a relatively short trip! 134nm legs for $43,335…

Interesting research area and dunes along the Columbia River just north of Richland, WA…

I’m guessing that’s the Hanford Site, where Plutonium was manufactured for a LOT of American nuclear weapons. It’s currently the site of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, whom I’m currently doing a little bit of work with through an old professor of mine. Hoping to visit next spring, as a couple of my old Navy buddies are also there.

Cool. My dosimeter is still showing green. So it’s all good.

So I’ve been flying a bit sloppy on some of these dirt and challenging runways throughout eastern WA and Idaho… I’ve had three landings that were firm enough that Air Hauler let me know I damaged something. Currently my plane is at 83% - a full repair will cost $32,365…but my attitude indicator is an essential repair. So I’m electing to do the ADI for $5,000 and will put off the other repairs for now. The long and short of it is - I need to be way more careful on my landings…

Company cash is climbing though… $172,299 now…nice $45K-ish day this morning…
