I don’t phly the Phantom, but I’d love to join with a Mirage F1EE. Could you add a KS-3 or KC-135MPRS too for non-USAF AAR?
If you add a few A-4 slots, anyone can join regardless of aircraft modules owned. I can do some “on the job” instruction for the A-4 if desired.

Phantom if you got it, otherwise let derby know here before Friday what you have that comes closest.
F-5, Mirage F1, the free A-4, MiG-21 are all good alternatives.
If none of those float your boat, you can of course request a more modern jet and turn off some systems for the retro experience.

Do you want to fly a proper coop mission, including a briefing with a flight plan, IP, Nav Fix or do you want to just goof around?
Options:
- goofing around on Mariana’s. Everything goes, there’s air starts, you can bomb some trucks, spawn SAMs of varying difficulty, carrier ops, refuelling, you name it.
- Syria: basically the same thing minus air starts, just a different scenery
- Kola Sandbox - a mission with varying mini missions, BLUE aircraft can start at selected airbases in Norway, Finland or Sweden.
- Kola Mission: Strike on Severomorsk-1, flying NOE for large parts of the route. In essence a mission specifically for the F-4E although some limited F-16C and F/A-18C are available (they increase the difficulty a lot though, basically you get punished for flying modern stuff) and I can easily add a Mirage F.1. It’s got a proper briefing, flight plan and targets including images of the target and the VIP for the Nav Fix. Adhering to the briefed route and procedures is important. For example, if you forget to turn your radar to standby at fence in the mission will most likely fail. Tanker and AWACS are available but I would have to add a KC-135MPRS for the Mirage.

Friday NIGHT! Straight home to taking a Nap then up by ten so I can catch up with you guys at 11. Do I need to DL Discord? Or is it just a join the channell thing?

I think Discord works through the browser, though you’ll have more control over settings if you download the app (which might make getting mics working easier)

Let’s do my Kola Sandbox then (if everyone attending has the map of course). It’s got a variety of mini missions we can fly and still offers room for sillyness. The F-4E mission while fun and athmospheric requires quite a bit of knowledge and aptitude at flying and fighting in the Phantom.
Edit:
Stuff you can do
- Intercept Tu-22M before they can engage our CSG
- Attack various mock up targets at live fire ranges in Norway and Sweden
- Plan and fly a strike on Olenya (something for the Viggen especially)
- Plan and fly a strike on the northern fleet near Murmansk
- Intercept Soviet air patrols of varying difficulty
