Nevermind was 91 - not their first album - maybe the popularity came a bit later. We had already had plenty of rock mixed with computerised dance music by then also.

When they had to revise the X-32 (Battle of the X Planes) Boeing decided to put that 2 post (Pelikan) tail on itā¦but after a few more days decided to go back to the standard 4 post tail.
The 2 post tail might be better for Stealth but likely provides less control.
I was just becoming aware of the Seattle music scene about that time, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, etc. Seemed like a breath of fresh air after disco and the big hair bands of the 70s and 80s.

While simultaneously blocking export to Japan ābecause stealth technology,ā only for the F-35 to be exported anyway lol.
Anyone notice the formation lights on the inside of the Checkmateās vert stabs? Bit of an odd place.
Thatās to keep orientation when doing the Cobra maneuver to spoof Western fighters in a knife fight.
