Perhaps looking for a new gaming PC

A modern motherboard will have a M.2 slot for your NVMe SSD on board, or two or even three. Check the specs for your motherboard.
I would second Wes recommendation that a NVMe SSD upgrade will be worth it. I currently use a 2TB Samsung 970 Evo (400+ EUR) and a 4TB HDD in my system. Can recommend this setup, all Windows and games go on the 2TB easily and videos and other non critical stuff on the HDD.

I have a corsair 1000 and its properly WAY overkill. I’ve never even heard the fan start on it.
