The perspective looks like he and those trees are the same scale…like he should have a Tokyo bus in his mouth!
Not far off. 68kg.
I’ve never looked more comfortable on any piece of furniture than those guys.
Haha, epic airplane ears! Utterly unimpressed looking cats.
And of course the dog does its typical thing: Just being happy with what it got and relax.
Lovely pets Harry. Lovely. lol I’d like to pinch those helicopter ears for sure.
Blocking airflow and filling the case with cat fur at the same time… welcome to my world!
Cho, our ‘oh so soft’ burmese above has been my ‘ships cat’ since Elite Dangerous was released.
She will often jump on me or, more likely, the PC if she is ‘doing a drive-by’ and I am on.
But. And I don’t know exactly why because she won’t do it with any other game, but every time I load ED… zoom, there she is on my lap and will sit there quite contentedly until I shut it down. She has even chosen a mission or two for me
Looks like the typical copi!
He’s adding about 10°C to my CPU temps… he is laying over the AIO radiator.
Cats are strange and mysterious creatures, no doubt about it.
Maybe he’s a cat… but frooooom Spaaaace!
Must be the sound design of this game. I never get tired of all the ship noises…
That is totally a thing!
I must admit that I can totally zone out to ambient flight sounds.
I recall coming back super early from a cross country flight as the wingman. No clouds, but super hazy. I spent 3 hours just hanging on my lead’s wing in the completely featureless sky, nothing but the static in my helmet and the sound of breathing in my mask, absolutely struggling to stay awake!
It does sound like the ship is purring, right?
Yo Bertil. Have a wonderful day
Yes you wuz!
Hmmm, I has a flavour.
Three weeks ago Erika and I made the very sad decision that it was time for us to say goodbye to our 14 and a half year old girl Freckles. She was a wonderful dog who kept soldiering on despite having multiple health issues. Here she is completely ignoring the Roomba a few months ago. When she reached the point where she could no longer go on walks, we picked up a dog stroller for her. The highlight of her day was for us to load her up in the stroller and take her up and down our country road. I’m sure the neighbors thought we were nuts ). I miss her laying down next to me while I was simming/gaming.
Our plan was to wait awhile before even thinking of getting another dog after Freckles was no longer with us… but plans go out the window when the house feels empty, plus there are a lot of dogs in need of a good home.
So, a visit to the county shelter happened on Sunday afternoon, and the very first dog we saw was Stanley. He was surrendered to the shelter 4 months ago and the poor guy had pretty much shut down. Very timid and submissive. He is about 3 and a half. We decided to foster him, with the intention to adopt if he worked out… but we decided to make it official after just one day as he is obviously a great fit.
So, we are nearly a week in and it is great to see him start to come out of his shell.
