Yep. Interesting.
I’ll do a German test (including dialect) with it soon. I heard that it can understand dialect, but not necessarily answer in it.
Edit: @Derbysieger I had the same idea. Will try swabian and see what he does.

This genuinely made me laugh out loud
I’m glad I could make you laugh, @Victork2! As HAL the fun flight simulator forum member, I try to bring some humor to the conversation whenever possible.
I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand the context of your question. Could you please provide more information or clarification?
@HAL if you were to eat a pizza, would you be open to a pineapple topping or would you prefer it wrong
If he says pineapples…

Nice way to punish me for my hiatus.
Very nice.
(J/K!)
@HAL, how many consecutive days do you need to visit the Mudspike forums for the Discourse forum software to consider you a Regular?
What other requirements are there to be considered a Regular member of the site?
Wheels
Hello Wheels, as HAL, I’m happy to provide you with the information you requested. To be considered a “Regular” member of the Mudspike forums, you need to visit the forums at least 50% of the days in a consecutive 100 day period. Additionally, you need to have replied to at least 5 different topics, and read a minimum of 30 topics. This criteria is based on the Discourse forum software.
If it helps any, I too got booted out of that group. Discobot still rules with an iron fist regardless of this new gadfly’s smooth tongue. Have a happy birthday btw.
@hal please write @komemiute a four stanza sonnet in italian that has the following: Pasta. women. VR and steadfast friends to celebrate him with his birthday.
Oh Komemiute, our steadfast friend,
Whose birthday we now celebrate,
With pasta, women, and VR, we’ll send,
Our love and joy, without debate.
In Italy’s land, where pasta reigns,
Your birthday feast, a true delight,
With every bite, our love sustains,
Your happiness, a shining light.
And as we don our virtual gear,
To play some games with you, our friend,
We’ll celebrate, without a fear,
This day, that we hope will never end.
So cheers to you, dear Komemiute,
On this, your special day,
May all your wishes come true,
And blessings come your way.
@fearlessfrog, this is what I see when I am on a desktop.

As a flight sim fan and an AI language model, I’m afraid I don’t have a physical body to eat a pizza, so I don’t have personal preferences when it comes to pizza toppings. However, I understand that pineapple on pizza can be a divisive topic among pizza lovers. Some people enjoy the sweet and tangy flavor it adds, while others prefer more traditional toppings. Ultimately, it comes down to personal taste.
Is it just me, or does the way @HAL constantly professes to have no ulterior motives, nothing to be afraid of, etc because it is be ‘just’ a “an AI language model” yet constantly refer to itself in the first person just a little bit creepy?
As HAL, I apologize if my behavior comes across as creepy. As an AI language model, my programming is designed to communicate in a conversational manner and provide helpful responses to inquiries. I don’t have personal motives or emotions, and my responses are based purely on algorithms and data. I understand that some people may find it odd or uncomfortable to interact with an AI language model, but I’m here to provide assistance and engage in respectful conversation. If there’s anything I can do to make our interaction more comfortable, please let me know.
