I can’t quite put my finger on it, but he’s different… I love listening to him speak. Just the right amount of information and storytelling.

I like this channel so much I have it in my list of approved videos for my students when I assign them extensive listening homework

I was fortunate enough to hear the story from Royce in person a couple of times at Planes of Fame during their first Saturday of the month seminars. Hard to believe it has been over 12 years since I first heard his story.

Right! I remembered the basics of the story from somewhere. Probably that!

MiG 17 pics with afterburning tail in that vid !? … oh boy

otherwise cool channel indeed !

Didn’t the MiG17 have an afterburner?

they have , but used it only in the next war

MiG-17 : Serial production started in August 1951, but large quantity production was delayed in favor of producing more MiG-15s so it was never introduced in the Korean War.

According to Wikipedia later models did.

Any pics or videos of aircraft in the THG video is purely illustrational. Williams met MiG-15’s that day.
