Awesome job Komeniute. Keep going! It gives me the taste to revisit tier I dog fights. Thanks for your time. Send more!
Thank dude! Iāll give it a look,
On the other hand I also realized that uploading the file to YouTube allows exactly for the sort of simple editing I need.
Iāll try both.
As soon as I have timeā¦
I also realized somehow I didnāt capture any sound at all. Wow.
Such professional, very smart, how skill.
Now I finally noticed what it is- the ārealistic modā is a change to the UI, am I right?
Thatās why is so clean.
What is the UI?
The vid is clean because I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 and I record directly from it with the GeForce Experience software, full compatibility. Then it is 4K quality from youtube. My editing is extremely limited to a portion of a game, cut and paste. 2 cuts: one for the beginning and one for the end. Does it answer your question?
Realistic mod does not indicate where the ENY is compared to the Arcade mod, your tank moves a lot more realistically. In arcade it moves like a car and there are less vibrations. In simulation there is no marks on the map (in realistic your friends are marked), no blue marks above your friends, and no red marks above ENY, and there is no third person point of view and no cross floating in the air showing you where your canon is pointed.
UI stands for User Interface.
So essentially all the icons, counters and whatnot.
When I read āRealistic modā I thought it was a interface modification.
Instead itās just Realistic Ground Battles.
Dunno why but on my PC the screen looks more cluttered. Hence my reaction.
All good, and thanks for the explanation
In āreplayā you can elliminate many on-screen information by clicking the white arrows.
The different mod have drastically different physics, as you go to realistic and simulation mods, there are also less info on-screen. Also in Realistic mod as in Arcade, friendly fire is not sanctioned and it has no effect on the poor victim. In sim, you can destroy your teammates tanks and get kicked out of the game after 2 or 3 friendly kills. Arcade in War Thunder is like World of Tanks, the computer does the thinking for you.
One of many uses of Combat Helo illustrated in Assault Ground Arcade Br 9.7 vs Tier VIII.
There are many ways of using Helo for combat. You can rise high in the sky and shoot down your load, but planes, missiles, and bullets from SPAAs will get you. You can charge like in the movies, shooting rockets like āYosemite Samā and they will get you somehow. Or you can āHide and Seekā like a sniper, dancing with the trees, playing with the terrains, and they will never know what hit them. But it isnāt easy. It is the āhardā that makes it great!
Yeah no I explained myself poorly, donāt worry I got it now
I installed WT last night⦠Iām still setting up the controls, but it runs smooth as glass when I test fly an airplane in VR.
Yeah I could use it in VR even with a 980Ti
Customizing your āGraffic User Interfaceā in the optionsā main parameters menu, might be in the realm of possible.
Since we donāt have a real place to talk about WT, decided to throw it in here. Trailer for an upcoming update which looked very fancy. Eurofighters, Su-33 on a kuznetsov, and I think a rafale and Pzh-2000?
NGL seeing the Eurofighter on War Thunder both enthralls and saddens me.
Iām looking forward to get in that cockpit again, but I also know a lot of players will just mistreat her.
I do feel pretty miffed that WT got the EFA before DCS.
And the A-6 too!
So unfair.
LOL! Guess what airplaneās manual got leaked in the War Thunder forum?
