I didn’t get my eyes in the sweet spot… I need to upgrade to the Quest 3…
More snow on the way? As beautiful as that looks, I have to remind myself that here we are in November and I’m walking around in jeans and a T-shirt.
Those two passed north of us, but there were others…
So am I… Inside.
Not me, but my boys:
Face down in the mud, being phanatical about getting that sand just right is Dave. Rocking up cluelessly holding a phone is Thomas. He’s allright but not the sharpest tool in my van These two are awesome together. They might have found one another irritating and started annoying eachother, but they don’t. They are supportive and fun together in ways that make everybody on the job site happier and healthier.
haha look at that goofy duck, completely wasted after wrestling 180kg of EPDM in place with me:
Hey at least your toilet has all the parts! I’ll make some pix of my base next time I’m there.
I know I’m going to be amazed over the next few months at the transformation…as I sit here and sip coffee and know to the depth of my bones that I wouldn’t be capable of doing it. I so envy the skills of you members that are craftsmen and artists and engineers. Meanwhile…me…
A rather busy Sunday. Managed to get the water flowing, the bog working, the cobwebs out. Had a good bleach of everything.
I wasnt going to move in yet but the wife is having a metric ton of kitchen equipment delivered this week so we needed the space urgently. Its kind of a temporary set-up so i can get that out the way and then start work on the building. My mate owes me a favour so he’s gonna build me 2 steel doors for security. Ive got some racking coming next week to store tyres which will free up some space.
Hats off to my boy. Never missed a beat helping me all day and earned himself farming simulator 25 as payment. I’m normally murderous after the kids have “helped” me all day but he got stuck in and really did make a difference! Now I’m slightly sad about it as he’s not my little boy but a functioning adolescent. Very proud of him though. He was the one who fixed the water as well, he found a giant red tap under the sink. I never saw it. Told him to spin it and hey presto, kettles full.
Fair play.

Look at you being all tired!
Wow, Is that your cabin? Location?
I’ve had that! (can’t remember where that is at moment)
The Wagstaff is good too.
Edit: I remember now. Was going to bug me for hours. Now I want some cheese curds too.
I love MSN. Used to fly there at least 2-3 times a month when I flew a 91 bird, and ate there any chance I got. Still do, but most of my trips in there are middle-of-the-night rush rush affairs anymore.
Had a pressurization problem coming out of there once in a CJ3, with a newborn onboard. I was fortunate in that I caught it early enough that no one had any issues, but unfortunate in that I had to circle over the airport for a while burning off fuel before I could land again.
This is Leopoldsteinersee, close to the town of Eisenerz, Austria. Not my cabin though, it’s a nature reserve used for trout breeding.
We were on our way back from visiting relatives in upper Austria and stopped to stretch our legs. It’s a walk of 1-2h around the shore.
I have so many questions…
First: Why MEDI-VAC? Why split an abbreviation?
Second: I know MEDIVAC is commonly use as an abbreviation for Medical Evacuation but as such, MEDEVAC makes much more sense. I mean… MEDI…VAC. Medical Vacuum…?
Third: Will you need one if you eat that burger?
I pondered that myself…I’ve always seen it written as MEDEVAC. Maybe you’ll need MEDIcine to help eVACuate your bowels after eating a hamburger topped with fried cheese curds…
